临安人民广播电台调频96.4兆赫，1994年正式开播，现全天播出18个小时，其中自办直播节目长达12个小时。除两档新闻节目外，还办有较受听友欢迎的时政类节目《媒体浏览》、《流动风景线》，综艺类节目《时尚空间》、《情未了》热线；对象类节目《对农村广播》，老年节目《夕阳无限好》；少儿节目《欢乐小世界》等等；与各职能部门联办的专题节目《三百六十行》在受众中也有较大影响。近期新推，关注农村、关心农民、服务农业的专题节目《魅力乡镇》。围绕建设社会主义新农村的主题，开播后就受到各方面受众的关注。
