盘锦人民广播电台新闻综合广播是盘锦建市即开播的第一家以新闻为主干的电台频率，同时也是我市唯一一台双频率双覆盖广播，不但覆盖城乡、油田，而且还覆盖周边市县，全天播音十九个小时。以早间《新闻力量》、午间《新闻直通车》、《杨红服务网》、《法制纵横》、晚间的当日《盘锦新闻》三个强有力的新闻时段和早晚的中央台新闻搭建起全天节目的构架，充分体现了新闻综合广播新闻立台的节目特色。新闻综合广播一直以来在盘锦地区担负着党和政府喉舌的重任，在广大听众心目中的权威性无可替代，建市二十年来，一直同盘锦社会的进步、经济的发展、人民生活水平的提高一起脉动。
