廊坊人民广播电台始建于1975年. 长书频道使用中波585千赫、调频100.3兆赫播音，它是我国首家经广电总局批准的以长书连播为特色的广播专业频率，全天播出18讲评书。著名评书表演艺术家袁阔成、单田芳担任艺术顾问，传统与现代的精彩评书尽在其中，是评书爱好者的乐园。在2004年9月以长书频道为依托，发起成立了全国首家“广播书迷俱乐部”，会员达到3000多人，遍布京、津、河北、山东等地。
