Ubicada en el 1280 del cuadrante en la banda de amplitud modulada, la XESQ de San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato., nació el sábado 26 de agosto de 1961 como ‘Radio Insurgente’ fue fundada por el entonces gobernador de Querétaro, Ramón Rodríguez Familiar.
