警察廣播電臺為擴大為民服務工作結合警察機關、傳播媒體、社會民眾等三方面群體功能成為一全方位、全面性網路力量以發揮警民合作之最佳功效將臺北分臺服務臺改制並更名為「警察廣播電臺服務中心」成為單一為民服務窗口隸屬警察廣播電臺臺北分臺於民國100年6月1日上午八時由內政部江部長宜樺、警政署黃副署長茂穗暨湯總臺長明珠、臺北分臺黃臺長虎台於服務中心正式揭牌啟用、運作。
