MDR TWEENS ist das neue Medienangebot des Mitteldeutschen Rundfunks für Kinder von 8 bis 13 Jahren. Zu hören ist das Programm über den Web-Stream auf der Webseite von MDR TWEENS Website oder in Mitteldeutschland über DAB+. Programm und tolle Musik gibt es bei MDR TWEENS rund um die Uhr. Kernstück ist die zweistündige Sendung MDR TWEENS Live. Sie wird von Montag bis Freitag zwischen 16 und 18 Uhr von Chris Löwe moderiert. Besprochen werden alle Themen, die Spaß machen und Kinder in diesem Alter interessieren. Von Musik über Hobbies bis hin zu Wissensfragen und Vermittlung von Medienkompetenz ist alles dabei.
