Η Δημοτική Ραδιοφωνία Τρίπολης ξεκίνησε να λειτουργεί από το 1989. Είναι από τα πρώτα ‘’ελεύθερα’’ ραδιόφωνα που λειτούργησαν νόμιμα στην χώρα μαζί με τον ‘’Αθήνα 9.84’’, στη συχνότητα 91,5 FM. Η Δημοτική Ραδιοφωνία της Τρίπολης, αποτελεί Δημοτική Επιχείρηση του Δήμου Τρίπολης με τίτλο ‘’Δημοτική Επιχείρηση Πληροφόρησης & Επικοινωνίας’’ .
