好家庭廣播FM97.7成立於1996年的母親節，正式在大台中的天空發聲，收聽範圍涵蓋台中縣市、彰化縣、南投縣及苗栗和雲林的一部份，除了秉持著「視聽眾如家人」的媒體精神外，更希望我們的影響力能如同母親一樣發光、發熱，提供大中部地區民眾需要的訊息與音樂，溫暖中部地區每個聽眾的心靈，讓生活在中部地區的民眾有最優質的選擇，希望每個家庭都成為好家庭！ 好家庭廣播自2002年1月起重新定位，轉型為古典音樂專業電台，為中部聽眾提供一個沒有壓力的資訊供給平台，以乾淨、清新的音樂與藝文訊息，豐富大眾的心靈園地，傳遞「真、善、美」的正向意念，盼望能成為現代人忙碌的生活步調中，一股安定心靈的力量。
