特定非営利活動法人（NPO）京都コミュニティ放送は、京都都心コミュニティの活性化をめざして2001年9月に設立されました。2002年3月5日に京都府から特定非営利活動法人の認証を取得、そして1年後の2003年3月31日に日本初のNPO放送局「FM79.7MHz京都三条ラジオカフェ」を開局しました。
