Omaha Community Broadcasting was incorporated on January 12, 1990 as a federal register 501(c)3 Nebraska non-profit entity. Thanks to past support KOWN 95.7 FM The Boss Radio Station exist & has achieved significant goals. December 28, 2014, we officially launched KOWN 95.7 FM The Boss with contributions and sponsorships from the Omaha communities. Since 2015, our small staff and committed volunteers were able to do the following: 1) Hosted and Sponsored over (30) community events including Health & Job Fairs. 2) Conducted live interviews with key community leaders, activists, artists and entertainers 3) Streaming our station on the Boss & Tunein phone apps available for all phone platforms. 4) Secured a major deal with Omaha Housing Authority for our Antenna Transmitter facilities. 5) Online newsletter was created to share upcoming events and community announcements 6) OJT & interned youth from Goodwill Inc., Workforce Dev. of Ne. & 100 BlackMen of Omaha 7) Provide a vehicle for PSA's to be submitted and offered competitive pricing on radio ads 8) Official Radio Station for Professional Arena Football Team "The Omaha Beef" 2016 season. 9) Broadcast station for Omaha's Champ, WBO Junior Welterweight Terence "Bud" Crawford. 10) Media partner with KCPZ 95.3FM & Truth TV on Digital Ch. 39.2 in Kansas City, MO. & KS. 11) Media partner with email marketing...
