Touching your Hearts & Minds On the 4th April 2006 (12th Rabbi-ul-Awwal 1427), Radio Dawn 107.6fm was born and with this new name came a new vision. God willing, and with the help of our volunteers, we aim for this station to be something that truly “touches your hearts and minds.” The station is accountable to its audience via an advisory committee of listeners and local community organisations. In addition twice yearly open days public meetings are held in which past performance and future plans are discussed. The station values its staff and volunteers and aims to offer training (particularly presenters) to allow them to be more effective in their role. Furthermore, the station aims to offer at least 25 volunteer presenter opportunities per year to allow new talent to emerge.
