A rádio comunitária Everest, já está funcionando em FM (Frequência Modulada) e na internet desde o dia 10 de julho deste ano, com autorização do Ministério das Comunicações. Com a frequência em 87,5 Mhz, a emissora é resultado de um grande sonho e de muita luta junto ao órgão do Governo Federal.
